Dell CTO shows ultra-thin LCD monitor, to ship by year-end

OK. This was just a mock up, but Dell CTO Kevin Kettler promised that this "clean and sleek display" will be available later this year. The monitor has I/Os and speakers integrated into the display itself and a single DisplayPort cable off the back. This allows for very thin displays just by the removal of legacy electronics that were required to do the analog to digital conversions.

I love how it so perfectly reflects everything in the room totally obscuring what is on the screen.
