Lap Track targets swimmers
Published on 05/ 2/2007

While runners have their pedometers that are capable of detecting the speed of their runs, casual swimmers have to rely traditionally on a human timekeeper to keep track of their lap times. The Lap Track aims to raise the performance bar of swimmers by a notch, simply by being affixed to the wall at the end of the pool. The Lap Track is capable of storing a wide variety of information such as best lap time, average lap time, average speed, total distance and total calories burned. The counter within maxes out at 50 laps, so unless you're in training to cross the English Channel, this cap shouldn't really bother you one bit.
