LG Z1 laptop with Sideshow

LG has taken the Chocolate cellphone design idea and implemented it into its new laptop known as the Z1. This laptop is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83GHz processor and comes with 1GB RAM, a 120GB hard drive, a mid-range video card, and a 12.1" TFT display with 1280 x 800 resolution. What sets the Z1 apart from other laptops would be the 2.5" Sideshow display located on the cover complete with touch sensitive buttons for navigation purposes. I personally think that Sideshow is much more of a gimmick compared to the Nintendo Wii control scheme. As if you don't have enough devices helping you keep track of your appointments, incoming emails, and other items already.

External screen worked well with flip phones. Able to access data without powering on the rest of the system is a pretty handy feature. I think this is a welcoming feature if they don't overcharge the price.
