MagicMouse worn like a ring
Posted on May 21, 07 08:51 PM PDT

The MagicMouse is nothing quite like the conventional desktop peripheral we use everyday. Worn like a ring, this device controls the cursor by simply pointing at the screen while moving the index finger. Moving the hand closer to the screen will zoom the image as well. No special software is required as the MagicMouse was designed to use the standard USB interface and communications protocols of normal mice. Will peripherals like the MagicMouse actually take over the traditional mouse form factor, or will it just remain in the realm of novelty? I prefer the standard mouse design as anything else doesn't feel right. After all, why reinvent the wheel?
