Posted on May 21, 07 09:59 AM PDT
The Mio C520 was first seen at CES 2007 (read our hands on experience) and is now available to U.S. consumers after nearly half a year of waiting. This widescreen device boasts text-to-speech driving instructions, a split screen view on a lovely 4.3" display, an SD/MMC memory card slot, and an innovative way of speaking to the user. Generic driving instructions are located in the rear view mirror while clear voice prompts which include the actual street name are read out to help you concentrate on your driving better. Each Mio C520 will come pre-loaded with U.S. and Canadian maps, featuring over 6 million POIs. You can pick one up for $399.95 today.
