Siemens Gigaset E455 home phone

Siemens fires a salvo on behalf of home phones all around the world by releasing the Gigaset E455 SIM. This house phone is capable of withstanding the everyday rigors of home use with its dust-proof, splash-proof, and shock-proof features. Is such a handset really necessary? Unless you indulge in fights with your spouse on a regular basis by wrecking an uncountable number of phones, the Gigaset E455 is definitely for you. For the rest of the population, nobody in their right mind would abuse an innocent house phone for no good reason. I don't see the extinction of the house phone being pushed back any further even with the Siemens Gigaset E455. Do you?
