Tango Wings update
Posted on May 9, 07 08:53 AM PDT

We have an update on the Tango Wings UMPC that we covered last month. The WVGA display was not 7" as originally thought, but measures 6.5" instead. Now for the juicy part - the specifications. The Tango Wings is endowed with a 30GB hard drive, WiFi connectivity, 768MB of RAM, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, integrated speakers, a webcam, FireWire, VGA, Ethernet, three USB 2.0 ports, audio out, a microphone jack, and an SD/MMC memory card slot completes the list. All these are controlled by a VIA C7-M770 processor. The Tango Wings measures 190mm × 120.8mm × 28.3mm and weighs a mere 720g, although pricing and availability details are still unknown. Looks like a sweet machine on the whole to me - hopefully it won't cause too much burden on our pockets when released.

The Tango Wings is the same unit as the Medion UMPC from CES in January and the Gigabyte U60 from CeBIT in March. Same specs, same everything.
