Everyone wants to be a rock star - they get the adulation of the masses as well as tons of money. Unfortunately, not everyone is cut out to be one, so you will just have to fantasize with the Air Guitar Pro from TakaraTomy. This device comes in the shape of a guitar neck and ends abruptly at that. Tunes are played by holding your fingers on chord buttons on the fretboard while strumming the air. An infrared sensor in the neck of the guitar will detect your hand motions, playing back the appropriate sound. Should the internal speaker be insufficient for your Rock Star antics, there is always the option to hook up the Air Guitar Pro to an external amplifier. Each Air Guitar Pro retails for $27 and shipping commences this July 25th.
