Cocoon blossoms from O2
Posted on Jun 15, 07 08:56 AM PDT

O2 of Europe will be entering the lucrative music cellphone market by unveiling the Cocoon - a handset that derived its name from the all-white and completely rounded body that stores some additional features. These features include LEDs below the outer lid that light up during incoming calls, doubling up as a unique display which caters to the handset's clock radio function whenever it is plugged into its custom dock. Additional specifications include a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, 3G connectivity, a microSD memory card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The lack of Bluetooth is certainly disturbing since that's almost a given in most handsets today. The O2 Cocoon is expected to retail for £300 in U.K.

FYI: there´s no lack of Bluetooth in this phone... And don´t forget to mention that it has 2 GB of internal flash memory..
