IntelliTouch Eos wireless speakers

IntelliTouch will be making a splash in the speaker system market by unveiling the Eos wireless satellite speaker system. Targeting iPods, the Eos links up to a quartet of remote speakers while delivering interference-free CD quality sound at 48Khz using wireless transmission technology. It has a range of up to 50 meters, bypassing obstacles like walls, floors, and ceilings. In unobstructed, outdoor environments, the Eos can broadcast at more than 300 feet. The satellite speakers are hooked to an iPod docking base, featuring a couple of stereo drivers and a ported subwoofer. The core system (docking station/transmitter, wireless remote control, one wireless stereo speaker) will retail for $300, while addition Eos wireless stereo speakers cost $150 a pop. It looks fine and dandy, but my only one grouse would be the phallic looking antenna that sticks out like a sore thumb.
