iRiver NV makes you see green
Posted on Jun 18, 07 09:39 PM PDT

Looks like the iRiver NV is now official. This GPS navigation system does not only keep you on track to your destination, it also features DMB functionality that keeps you entertained even when you're out of your home, provided a signal is available. The iRiver NV will be released in Korea first (where else), and some of the more interesting features include a generous 7" WVGA display, a couple of SD memory card slots (what the..?!), GPS navigation, DMB, support for a wide variety of audio and video formats ((MP3,WMA, OGG, ASF, WMV, MPG, Xvid, H.264), and an integrated FM radio among others. Pricing details have yet to be confirmed. First we have the LG enV, now the iRiver NV, what next - Motorola JLSY?

Can it display Japan maps on it, but have the menus in English? Can you use a PC to download waypoints and routes?

Can you put a Sd-WIFI-card in one of the slots and use internet on it? Second: can you get to the embedded CE 5.0 core?
