Panasonic unveils CF-52 notebook
The Panasonic CF-52 is yet another Santa Rosa-based notebook, featuring a speedy 2.0GHz processor, a maximum of 4GB RAM, a 120GB shock-mounted hard drive, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity (sorry, no draft 802.11n here), 3G support, and a choice between 15.4" WUXGA and WXGA displays. All this technology is packed into a 2" thick form factor, which is pretty commendable. Too bad Panasonic have not taken steps to include a High Definition DVD drive in there at the moment. Americans will be able to lay their hands on Panasonic's CF-52 notebook this July at the base price of $1,650. Those with deeper pockets and prefer to max out the options available on the CF-52 will have to fork out nearly an additional grand at $2,500. ( Add a comment, Search on eBay)

Iv Had one for about 6 months now, and i love it, they dont over-heat, can handle Everquest2 on max graphics at 33 frames per second with minimum specs., iv droped it several times without a flaw.
the handle is very handy, and the batery lasts forever.

I use one at work. I like the handle, so that I don't need a carrying bag. The screen is bright, it has 4 USB ports and room for more expandability. I like it very much and want one for myself.

I've used a pre-production sample unit for a couple of hours, and I say: this thing rocks! Bright screen, built like a tank, 4 USB ports! The handle is a really cool add. I want one!
