Parking meter calls for more coins
Posted on Jun 27, 07 05:57 AM PDT

Parking meters can be a real pain, especially when you're in the 43rd floor of an office building with only one more minute to fill up your car's parking meter with more coins before being slapped with a fine. Folks in Vancouver and Niagara Falls are luckier as they have received parking meters that actually alerts you via your cellphone before it runs out of cash, giving you ample time to literally buy time by dropping more coins. Powered by the sun itself, these parking meters even offer you the option to pay your fine on the spot. Talk about efficient!
