helow people i need your help here,i just receive this phone sony ericcson cybershot k850 as a present but i dont know what the problem is,i insert my sim card but the damn phone is some how locked,you can only dial emergency calls thats it i dont know what the problem is,please help thanks

For those having trouble with picture quality. a great tip is that the light censor builds up dirt (its just under the flash. Use a cocktail stick or similar to get rid of the dirt and it will take much better photos. Whwen dirt gets in there it thinks its darker than it is and thus over does it with the flash causing horrid pics. Hope that helps!!

stupid phone!!!
used only for 3 months...
now the keypad isn't functioning properly!!!
the camera isn't that great after all...
kinda troublesome sometimes....
ugly phone!!!was deceived by it's looks on the picture)!!!
isn't worth while the $$!!!

this phone is sooo not what it says it is. ive had nothing but problems. the 3 touch buttons dont work and when im texting someone they send b4 ive finished. im so annoyed at this phone. anyone else with the same problem?

I've had the K850 for several weeks and I think there is something wrong with the camera, either mine is screwed or the phone is not as good as it's supposed to be! the pics are not at all clear!! I've tried playing with all the setting but its still not working. Has anyone had this problem? or any problems with the camera?

To the last post, I have exactly the same problem, it's very frustrating, and sony or 02 will not fix it. I am cheesed off to say the least, it's a great phone up until last week when it started switching itself off all the damn time!

i have had the sony ericsson k850i for 3 months now and all i have had is problems.. not being able to send or recive messages or calls and when i do finally get through it just keeps cutting off. had new software put on it and it was doing the same thing 2 hours later!all the other people i know that have this fone have had the same problem!!!!!!

Have owned the k850i for approx 3 weeks, got to say it is fantastic. Previous phone was the k800i, a great phone however Sony have made great improvements with the functionality and technology of the k850i. This phone is completely redesigned, unlike the 810i which was a k800i in drag. N95 is just to big, bulky and software too complex as compared to windows mobile.

Just got the new SE k850i with the blue strip around it. fu***ng awesome!!!! Worth flogging my N95 any day. Camera is mint, sound quality is very clear. Keypad is great guys. Dont let it put you off!!!!!

when you use this phone u will forget about the keypad and all the other stuff, Sony Ericsson's products are a pleasure to have, to look at and to use.
Best phones ever looking at their program their graphic quality, the sound quality and the features it acquire.
I will get this phone when it's available

This phone is not a smart phone and obviously won't have the exact spec's as the hideously grotesque and enormous n95, but it's battery life, picture quality, sound quality, software and general useability will be leagues ahead of the n95 dinosaur. As for the keepad you are all complaining about it's supposed to be touch sensitive, as well as having 3 touch sensitive buttons on the screen, so you won't accidently press 2 and 5. Awesome phone sony

this machine is awesome, got the K800i en handled the K810, for months now & still impressed with SE. Cant wait to manhandle the machine. why get the rest wen this is the BEST. 3 cheers for Sony Ericsson.

Hi its looking great as it doesnt have any camera cover like K790i. But I had a lot of s/w problems with the 790i, donno are they using some updated s/w.. Lets wait n see.. Dont buy in a hurry without enquiring s/w probs...

This phone looks amazing. My only worry is the keypad as i feel i might easily press 2 or 5.
either way i dont care this phone will be amazing. i have a k800i and i've been drooling over this for about 6 months now since i heard rumours about a 5MP camera-phone from SE.
I'll get this in October when my current contract ends.

i have sony erricson phones for the past 2 years (k750i, k800i, k810i and w880i)... all those phones except for the w880i gave me amazing pix... picture quality of the SE's are better than the nokia phones.

I like everything about this phone except the keypad (1st impression). But sometimes its just look not a realy good keypad but when you try to use it then you'll know for real.
Anyway..the performance and great functions does make me crazy for SE K series especially this one. I dont mind internal memory since its enough already, If you want more you still have choices of M2 & SD cards.
And nowadays I don't realy like expensive nokia phones.Their Camera, picture and sound quality won't be better Sony's technology.

Does anyone know if the spec of this machine will beet the spec of the K800i because from the comparison chart on the ericsson website the other had a better spec excluding the 5Mpixls. 65mb internal versus 40mb etc...

i think the keypad looks horible and spoiled the great looks of the handphone.If the keypad is like the W850i, it will be better and the handphone will surely be famous because of the looks quality, and features. thats all.
