Via enters UMPC fray with NanoBook

The Computex 2007 expo has certainly seen its fair share of new stuff released, with the NanoBook from Via being one of them. This full-fledged notebook comes with a tiny 7" display, making it look more like a portable digital photo frame than anything else. Features include USB connectivity, Ethernet and WiFi support, DVI output, a maximum of 1GB RAM, and optional Bluetooth, all powered by the ULV 1.2GHz C7-M processor. Unfortunately, there is no solid state drive inside, leaving you with a choice between 30GB and 60GB hard drives. The NanoBook comes with an expected battery life of 5 hours and will ship in the second half of this year at a yet undisclosed price.
