Concept notebook hates trees

Fancy a wooden notebook? The S-series notebook will use exactly that material as its chassis, sporting a 4mm thin 17" LCD display and powered by Windows Vista. Now wood isn't exactly the best choice for a notebook, as I might need to use the Illuminated Tweezers along the way as the wood deteriorates with time. Not only that, everyone knows that wood weighs a ton (good luck, shoulder!) and works horrible when it comes to heat insulation. I guess this is why this S-series notebook justly remains a concept as this is one clear-cut case where function plays no role in the presence of form. Bamboo would've been a much better choice in this matter, but its porousness worries me in the event of a knock or drop.
