Dynahand system for enhanced security
Published on 07/ 3/2007

Dynahand is an interesting security system that requires the user to just recognize his/her own handwriting without the need to reserve yet more brain cells for another password. Most people don't create strong passwords anyway, and reuse the same password for most of their other accounts. First, the user will have to input their own handwriting into the system, and subsequent log in attempts will show a variety of random digits in different handwriting styles, where only the legitimate user can answer correctly. Since it uses digits, it is much harder to anyone to 'hack' into the respective account via brute force as digits are harder to recognize than characters. When the researchers of the Dynahand system have sorted out the nitty gritty details, I hope to see this feature appear in more websites.
