NEC goes rectangular with N704iµ

The Japanese will be beneficiaries of yet another well designed product, and this time it is the NEC N704iµ cellphone. Touted to be the slimmest clamshell WCDMA handset in the world, the N704iµ boasts a stereoscopic fascia to melt your heart and part with your money. It measures a mere 10cm x 5cm x 1cm and weighs 90 grams, lugging along a standby time of 690 hours and talk time of 200 minutes. Video calling time stands at 135 minutes, but I would take those figures with a few pinches of salt since real world usage will probably yield lower figures. Features include a LCD display (240 x 345 pixels), a VGA camera for video calls, a 1.3 megapixel camera, a microSD memory card slot, and super slim speakers. NEC has remained mum on whether the N704iµ will retail outside of Japan - I'm hoping it would.
