O2 to unveil Cocoon in the UK

Looks like folks in the UK will be receiving the Cocoon clamshell handset from O2 soon. This HSDPA-capable cellphone comes with 2GB of internal memory that works great for a music-centric handset, and should that be not enough, you can always throw in a microSD memory card for further expansion. Handsfree calls can also be made via a Bluetooth connection. Additional features include a 2 megapixel camera, an integrated FM radio, and various Personal Information Management programs to help you sort out your life. I just love the way the LED lights up on the outer shell whenever there's an incoming call or text message. This must be one of the more aesthetically pleasing handsets to be released in a long time.

I have this phone, and I think the phone is really good. It's unique and I've seen about 2 people with it, which is great, I like having a phone everyone is interested in.
However ever since I got the phone, the charger has been touchy, and whenever transferring files from the computer t the Cocoon, or vice versa, it needs to be set in a certain position to work. I'm not sure whether this is just a fault with my phone or others also. It's irritating to say the least.
Also I think there may be a slight loose connection inside the phone, as when pressing the menu button, instead of opening the menu, it comes up with a number. Not a real big issue and maybe just my phone once again but something else I'm disappointed on.
The charger got worse until now, I cant use it at all, even when being used as a mains charger.
So I can no longer use it.

Got my Cocoon today, having traded down from a Sony Ericsson W960i. So far it seems really easy to use, very robust and nicely packaged. Cool design, too.

Ignore claims that the handbook is garbage or that the interface is clunky..........this phone isn't exactly an iPhone, but it's intuitive, unpretentious and logical to operate. Furthermore, the O2 guidance notes and software are very good indeed. I'd give the Cocoon an easy 8/10 so far.
