Official Wii Zapper now available
Posted on Jul 11, 07 07:52 PM PDT

Third party manufacturers have already jumped the gun (pun intended) when they launched their own Wii Light Gun accessory. Nintendo certainly took their time, and used the slimmed down E3 event to unveil the Wii Zapper. The Wii Zapper does not only hold the Wiimote, but there is also a cradle that holds the Nunchuk controller as well. In all probability, the controls are set up in such a way where the Wiimote is used to zap stuff on the screen while the Nunchuck is used to manipulate the camera. The Wii Zapper will be released later this year along with a new title, taking the route of Wii Play that features an additional controller. It will retail for $20 a pop.

it be used for any games actually, since the zapper is just a plastic shell.
anyways, i wish the trigger button was the Z button, but i guess itll take getting used to
seriously though, im concerned about how Nyko's battery lid will fit into this, seeing how its grips slightlyprotrude out a bit =(

I think the Zapper is a great design, not so sure about the name though.

Can the Wii Zapper be used for Resident Evil 4, or just a number of selected games.
