Samsung 94 Series plasma TV go wireless
Posted on Jul 12, 07 10:37 PM PDT

Samsung's latest 94 Series of plasma TVs are certainly far ahead of the competition, featuring wireless connectivity that does away with pesky cables. Other than the power cord, you won't find any cable snaking out from this bad boy. All your other home theater components are connected to a receiver, where this receiver will then wirelessly transmit audio and video signals (up to 1080i resolution) directly to the TV thanks to 802.11n connectivity. The receiver boasts a fair share of connectivity options, including a trio of HDMI 1.3 ports. There are 50" and 58" models to choose from when released at the end of this year, with the former retailing for $3,599 while the latter costs $5,299. While prices have dropped tremendously for HDTVs over the years, they are still considered as luxuries to most people.
