Sharp Fullface 913SH unveiled in Japan
Softbank Mobile has just unveiled the Fullface 913SH cellphone from Sharp in Japan. The specifications show that this won't be any entry-level handset as it boasts HSDPA and Bluetooth A2DP connectivity, a generous 2.8" QVGA 262k color display, a 2 megapixel camera, and an SD memory card slot (up to 2GB in size). I suppose the slider design is large enough to accomodate SD instead of microSD as preferred by other cellphone manufacturers these days. Choose from vivid pink, black, silver, pink, green, light blue, orange, and gold colors. The 913SH is currently available in Japan at a yet undisclosed price - and we here Stateside won't be seeing this arriving at store shelves, which is unfortunate. ( Add a comment, Search on eBay)

I have the 913SHG and love it, but I can't find what type of video codec/file I need to use to put videos on it. The included english manual is extremely thin and only covers the basics of operation.

I just bought one of these phones. It's great but unfortunately no one has translated the manual in English, yet...and I empahsize the yet. The slot on the side is micro SD...take heed. This phone works great as a browser, media player, pda, and phone. In the US we really need to upgrade our internet cell phone service. We could learn a thing or two!
