Solo Sunlight Sauna for the loner
Posted on Jul 3, 07 10:48 AM PDT

So you're alone at home this summer with no one to share your life with. Instead of looking like a loser lounging beside the pool all by yourself, why not pick up the Solo Sunlight Sauna? This portable personal sauna (the word 'portable' is used liberally in this context) can be set up on any flat surface within minutes, where integrated infrared heaters run 100% of the time when hooked to a power source. At the very least, single hot chicks who catch you toting one of these will know you're looking for companionship as well, and have a pretty hefty amount of dough stashed away in the bank in order to own one of these.

I am surprised to read this comment as I absolutely love my Basswood sauna! Maybe you should contact a physician to truly understand why you are getting sick. Your sickness may have nothing to do with Sunlight Saunas, but coming from another source? Good luck..

Has anyone had bad experiences with Sunlight Saunas? I am talking about toxic out-gassing from the basswood that they advertise as "odor-free". Have you gotten sick from the fumes? Have you called them to tell them the fumes are strong and making you sick and Sunlight refuses to help? If so, please contact me immediately for possible law suit. Thanks.

To reply to this man's disgruntled letter.
Yes, it does take time to receive your Sunlight sauna for 2 reasons:
1.) They have incredible crafstmanship and each one is made slowly and carefully.
2.)They are very popular and they are trying to keep up with demand without compromising quality.
As far as the damage goes, the sauna is shipped unassembled, in seperate panels. If a panel is damaged in shipping, Sunlight has replacement panels in stock that they can expedite that will arrive in a matter of a few days. The panel can be installed in a matter of minutes without any tools.
By refusing delivery and sending back several hundred pounds of merchandise to Sunlight, they obviously incurred unecessary shipping charges (and headache) because you chose not to follow their instructions.
Although the communication between both parties was less then perfect, this man obviously overreacted and unfortunately missed out on owning the best sauna on the market.

Don’t ever consider buying anything from this company. We purchased a sauna from them, waited weeks for delivery, and then the sauna arrived damaged. We refused to accept the sauna. The company never offered us a replacement but instead tried to get us to accept the damaged sauna and wanted me to figure out which parts were damaged and wait for replacement parts. When we refused to do this they charged us $790 shipping costs! This is the worse customer service department I have ever encountered. I left numerous messages trying to contact them about this charge with a call back 2 weeks later with the guy saying they did offer us a replacement, we just did not hear it . Stay Away from Sunlight Saunas and tell your friends to do the same!
