Soundwave receives upgrade
Jul 16, 07 03:21 AM PDT

Looks like the maligned Decepticon, Soundwave, has received a modern day upgrade that would surely please his long suffering fans. Takara Tomy of Japan has thrown in MP3 playback capability by replacing the ancient tape deck with an SD memory card slot. Of course, what is a Transformer if he cannot change into his classic rectangle boombox form factor? This updated version of Soundwave retails for approximately $100 and looks to be worth every penny.
