Surfers get 2-way radio
Posted on Jul 8, 07 07:04 PM PDT

Surfing is a great sport, but most of the time surfers are separated from currents and riding waves that could prove fatal should a mishap occur. This 2-way radio concept lets surfers get in touch with each other, in addition to obtaining the latest tide information thanks to GPS connectivity. When attached to the surfboard, this radio also helps locate injured surfers in order to help the local authorities out during a search operation. Sounds neat, but it does take away a little bit of that "danger" element that many seek when surfing. This 2-way surfer radio was designed by lenartstudios.
