Wii Fit to fight the flab
Jul 11, 07 08:02 PM PDT

Nintendo is certainly serious about scooping up the non-gamer demographic, and the Wii Fit adds weight to that claim. There will be a new controller (Wii Balance Board) that looks like a weighing scale which will ship with the Wii Fit game. As its name suggests, this Wii Balance Board is placed on the ground, detecting your body movements as you sweat it out. It is capable of measuring your BMI to show your progress as you spend time with it regularly. Wii Fit will feature a wide range of guided exercises and mini games, helping you lose weight while you game away. There are more than 40 balance, aerobics, yoga and general fitness activities to keep you occupied. Sounds as though plenty of people will pick this title up to aid them in their never ending battle against the bulge.
