Toshiba has plans to roll out its 3rd generation HD DVD players when October rolls around. These three models will be the HD-A3, the HD-A30, and the top-of-the-line HD-A35. Currently, details regarding specifications are as scant as water in a middle of a scorching desert, but you can expect Toshiba to unveil more information at the CEDIA Expo in Denver next month. Pre-orders can be placed at Amazon though, and the HD-A3, the HD-A30, and HD-A35 will retail for $299, $399, and $499 respectively (Links on Amazon have been removed). Will these low prices see the 'war' tip in favor of HD DVD?
