Casio presents EXILIM W53CA

Well, well, what do we have here? Yet another camera phone to tempt you in parting with your hard earned money. The cellphone in question is the Casio EXILIM W53CA that comes with a stunning 5.1 megapixel camera with autofocus, microSD memory card support, an electronic dictionary, and image stabilization technology to help you capture picture perfect shots even when you suffer from the occasional trembling of hands. This clamshell handset will come in red, black, and silver colors, and unfortunately for everyone else, the EXILIM W53CA will only be made available in the Korean market.

Can somebody tell me how to use the au Music Port. I loaded the program and i download some music files in WMA/m4a/ACC formats and it will not play. I also put a CD in there and download but it will not work neither. It was saying something about not having my phone info in the program. Does anybody know about it?

Hi all. I’ve got the new W53CA (I live in Tokyo). Its an OK unit but…
There isn’t any English manuals to go with it, and probably never will be. The unit is too complex to figure out all of its features without it, so you’re going to need a friend that can read Japanese to help you.
I does not play mp3 audio files! Only kmf format (ugh!), and you have to use their (au) Lismo Music Port software to load the music files into the unit (again, only Japanese Win XP OS can be used for this).
It has no extrnal display.
Its e-mail client is a little funky when entering in ABC mode.
It uses the “Micro” SD card, which is still a little pricy. Its good for storing pictures though.
I haven’t figured out how to use the dictionary yet (its all in Japanese).
The internet browser is a wasted feature on a cell phone (IMHO).
It takes good pictures! It even has a neat little LED flash!!!

No, it will probably only be available in the Japanese market. Note the Japanese writing in the picture. It is carried by the au brand of the Japanese KDDI carrier.
