If you have a phobia of shaking hands, the Hand-le Doorknob would fit in very nicely into your agenda. It was designed by Naomi Thellier de Poncheville, and it serves the purpose of welcoming visitors with the firmest of handshakes. I wonder what doormen have to say to this contraption, but technology seems to separate people even further instead of bringing them closer, although there are exceptions to the rule. At the very least, there is no need to tip the doorknob ;)
