The ClearChat Pro is presented by Logitech as being a “high-quality” headset for your multimedia activities on the computer. Audiophiles will probably find that the term “high-quality” is overstated here, but Skype is certainly not going to push the envelope on sound quality anyway. The device has easy-to-access volume and mute controls and the (background) noise-cancelling microphone should help keep conversations clear. Overall, the design is good and small details like the “mute” light indicator, or the one-click equalizer makes this headset stand out a little in an extremely commoditized sector. $49.99
