Music retrieved via singing

Forget about Google when it comes to searching for music - an Australian computer scientist claims that next generation search engines will soon have the smarts to retrieve music for you as long as you sing a song to your computer. There are still hurdles to overcome, such as the huge diversity of music genres, bad singing, and the effect interference from environmental noise, but progress in technology ought to make those a non-issue within a few years' time. I guess it helps if you have a crystal clear, angelic voice, but what if someone like me croaks a line from "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and receive "Hollowed by thy name" by Cradle of Filth instead?
