Olevia unveils full HD LCoS TV

Syntax-Brillian will be unveiling the 665H Olevia TV at this year's CEDIA. What makes this TV special from the rest of the LCD and plasma crowd is the use of Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) that functions very much like DLP TVs due to the utilization of rear projection. The difference lies in producing images using liquid crystals on a silicon chip, where the LCoS process is capable of higher resolution than DLP. This means you'll be able to enjoy full HD (1080p) on the Olevia 665H with no problems whatsoever. Other highlights include a 4ms response time, a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, an integrated tuner for ATSC and NTSC signals, HDMI, VGA, S-video, and composite inputs. Heck, even the TV's firmware can be upgraded. You will have to set aside $1,999 for the Olevia 665H if you want one.
