PSP gets touchscreen capability

PSP owners might have the better screen compared to the DS, but it still lacks touchscreen functionality that really pulled the DS ahead in terms of sales and creative games. This color 24-bit LCD 4.3" PSP touchscreen turns things around for Sony's handheld, but the only way you can take advantage of it would be coming up with your own touchscreen capable homebrew game. The screen costs a mere $23.95, which isn't too expensive when you think about it. Will future PSPs come with an official touchscreen? Do you even hope for that day to come, or do you think the PSP is not meant for casual games like those found on the DS?
