Sony infrared controls unveiled
Posted on Aug 20, 07 04:11 AM PDT
Sony isn't exactly famous for its line of remote controls, but the lack of pedigree in that department certainly hasn't stopped the company from coming up with different designs for such remote controls. The trio are RM-PZ1FD, RM-PZ1SD, and RM-PZ1D and will be available exclusively in the Japanese market only at this point in time - not surprising considering the many Japanese characters printed on each remote. It uses three infrared LEDs for a wider angle of coverage, and can even withstand being dropped into water without missing a beat. All three are compatible with 15 different brands such as Matsushita, JVC, Sharp, Toshiba, Sony, and others. It will retail for approximately $21.50.
