This USB Webcam is different from the rest as you don't need to place it carefully on top of the monitor, taking extra caution not to knock it about to shift the capture angle. It comes with a suction cup instead, enabling you to stick it on most surfaces (glass is best in this case). Half a dozen white LEDs help illuminate its subject (which will be you most of the time), and it is capable of capturing stills in 640 x 480 resolution as well as videos in a similar format at 30fps. The cable length measures 1.2m, making it long enough to let you place this unique webcam almost anywhere. It retails for $22 each.
