The Acoustic Research WiFi universal remote looks pretty ordinary in terms of design, featuring all the standard buttons and an LCD display, but it does boast the ability to sync with a bunch of devices such as DVR, DVD player, receivers and any other component in your entertainment center. In addition, you can have news snippets, weather reports, and even sports headlines (Go Federer!) beamed onto the LCD display itself to keep you up-to-date. It even comes with a built-in reminder that tells you when your favorite show is about to start - which is kinda ironic since you definitely would be early for your daily dose of sitcoms and serials. You can pick up the Acoustic Research WiFi universal remote for $399.99 when it is released next month.
