Dual Shock 3 controller confirmed

Sony Computer Entertainment has finally unveiled the byproduct of it burying the hatchet with Immersion - the Dual Shock 3. This new controller will come with rumble capability, and looks like a twin of the gimped Sixaxis controller from the outside save for the change in wording where Dual Shock 3 is now printed in place of Sixaxis. Games that were showcased at Tokyo Game Show already support this function, along with future titles such as Metal Gear Solid 4, MGS Online, Devil May Cry 4, echochrome, Ratchet & Clank Future, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Dynasty Warriors 6. The Dual shock 3 will arrive in Japan this November, while those living in US and Europe will have to wait until next spring. Guess Sony will have to eat its words (yet again) as the Dual Shock 3 will still support the motion sensing function of the Sixaxis - something they claimed it interfered with before the PS3 was launched. If you're an early adopter of the PS3, will this news make you rush out and change your controllers? Image courtesy of SPong.

I look forward in replaying RFOM with the new rumble feature! Well done!
