The External Chilled Air Docking Station is a collaboration between Embarco and Intel, featuring a miniature compressor that blows cold air at your laptop to keep things running cool. It is touted to be the smallest miniature compressor in the world, boasting an effect similar to that of your fridge. Air as cold as 13.6 C are aimed at your laptop even when the ambient temperature stands at 23.1 C. Exact pricing details have not been set yet, but we're looking at a final price point that resides somewhere in the $150 region. Guess you'll need to wear extra thick pants if you plan on working with one of these sitting on your lap for hours on end.
