The Grand Cinema C3X 1080 projector is touted to be 'the smallest and lightest full HD 3-chip DLP projector in the world'. Now that's a pretty tall order to live up to, so let's take a look at the innards. Inside resides the latest 0.95" 1080p DLP chipsets from Texas Instruments complete with all-glass optics in the company's proprietary ALPHAPATH light engine, delivering full HD 1920 x 1080 progressive video. Features include full depth 10-bit video processing with HD scaling and deinterlacing for accurate 24fps video reproduction. In addition, you get advanced color management software for precise calibration of each projector to its home theatre environment. Choose from Ferrari red, black, or gold colors when the Grand Cinema C3X 1080 is released this November. It retails for a jaw-dropping £18,000 ($36,000) each.
