HP creates painless injections
HP researchers have engineered a drug patch that delivers medication through the skin via micro-needles without incurring an iota of pain. This was made possible after relying on years of experience where HP's inkjet-printer technology is concerned. This drug patch is also capable of delivering multiple drugs at preprogrammed intervals without the pain and hassle of conventional needles. Each micro-needle measures a couple hundred micrometers, small enough to deliver a drug directly without triggering any nerve endings located in the skin. I still remember the terror I felt when my dentist took out this insanely huge needle before my wisdom tooth removal procedure. If only HP researchers had developed this drug patch much earlier, I would've been spared of such pain and horror.
