iPhone price cut down to $399 and $299

Great news: Apple is cutting the price of the iPhone to $399 for the 8GB version and to $299 for the 4GB one. Note that the 4GB model will be discontinued, so Apple is basically dumping the 4GB iPhone stocks here.
