Lenovo has a new PC in town known as the Blue Sky A61e, and what makes this computer stand apart from the rest is its ability to be powered by an optional solar panel. Yes folks, this is as green as it gets for the moment, and Lenovo certainly doesn't skimp on the specifications to achieve this feat. First of all, its AMD Athlon X2 dual core processor sips a mere 45 watts, and the A61e is 25% smaller than its predecessor, weighing a mere 8 pounds. It also holds the distinction of being the quietest Thinkcenter PC to date, and has picked up the "EPEAT Gold rated PC" award and is Energy Star 4.0 compliant. Those looking for more juice out of the processor will have to search elsewhere, but the Lenovo Blue Sky A61e solar powered PC is certainly a viable candidate for everyday office work, retailing for $399.
