Rumors are afloat that Meizu has already set January 17, 2008 to be the shipping date for its highly anticipated M8. Not only do we have a new shipping date, it also comes with a new price of $788.50 which is far better sounding than the original $989 being bandied aroud. I personally find the price point rather strange, as conventional marketing tactics would use a figure ending in the number 9. Ah well, time will tell, so in the meantime you can always pick up an iPhone over the Meizu M8 if you can't wait.
