More light is shed on the upcoming Facebook IM application that has been slated for a beta release this Friday. Initial impressions are pretty favorable, since there is no need to download or install anything, and you also don't have to get involved with a convoluted registration process. The icing on the cake would be having all your Facebook friends use it instantly to stay connected with one another. Guess this is but a natural evolution of social networks.
