Power Tour Guitar rocks the house
The Power Tour Guitar from Hasbro and Tiger Electronics does help people learn the guitar although you would be much better off with an actual guitar. It does so by teaching riffs, although those finger-mangling strings have been replaced by light-up buttons ala Guitar Hero. All you need to do is make sure your fingers land on the lighted up spots in order to learn a song. A couple of these songs are rock classics, including Smoke on the Water and Wild Thing. You can also hook up the Power Tour Guitar to an MP3 player in order to jam to your favorite songs as long as you know the chords. There is no need for additional equipment since the guitar itself comes with a speaker and effects knobs. You can pick up the Power Tour Guitar to the tune of $70.
