Posted on Sep 27, 07 10:07 AM PDT

The Samsung SGH-i780 has been confirmed, which means we could see the possibility of the BlackJack 2 heading our way. The specifications are no longer secret - the only pieces of information left to uncover are the release data and price. This HSDPA/WCDMA/GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity (900/1800/1900 +2.1GHz) cellphone will be powered by Windows Mobile 6 Professional and comes with a QWERTY keyboard, full touchscreen capability, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 2.55" 65k color display at 320 x 320 resolution, Bluetooth connectivity, integrated GPS, and a microSD memory card slot - all crammed into a body that measures 115.9mm x 61.3mm x 13.3mm. I certainly can't wait to get my hands on one - can you?

This will replace my reliable but bulky BenQ P51 (which replaced my Treo 750V). It's amazing how other manufacturers are able to have wifi, GPS and Qwerty all into one unit when Palm seems to struggle to do the same!
