Sony's 17-inch Vaio line of laptops has gotten a much needed upgrade for those who like to watch flicks on-the-go: Sony has added in a Blu-Ray drive to their new AR600 series of notebooks. Users also now have the option of adding in CableCard support. You decide whether you want one or the other, or both in these new notebooks.
The AR6000 line will come in a few different flavors, with prices ranging from $1,700 at the low end and $3,300 at the high-end. Don't worry, there is a pretty wide spectrum of in between prices too. Expect the new Vaio computers to start shipping in early October.
