WoW account sold for $9,500

How much money would you spend to pick up a high level character or items in World of Warcraft? Apparently, somebody figured out that saving on all that time levelling up and searching for an elusive weapon is worth $9,500. Zeuzo the rogue from the Method guild sold off his Twin Blades of Azzinoth (only two players in the game have this) to Shaks for that amount of dough. Now bear in mind that this is the exception rather than the norm (not to mention illegal according to Blizzard's T&C) - those of you who think it is best to drop out of school or college and make a living selling high level game accounts need to review your priorities.

The character was actually bought, paid for, then transferred. Shaks transferred the rogue to his server, then a couple of days later (On September 3rd) Blizzard permanently banned the account for violating the TOS contract.
Congratulations to Shaks for being able to play on the character for 3 days before it got permanently banned. Awesome waste of $10k buddy :-)
