3D LCD 1040S monitor in Korea
Posted on Oct 31, 07 03:50 AM PDT

3DIS has just released its 3D LCD monitor in Korea, known as the 1040S. This monitor will see action in CES 2008, so I can't wait to see the actual monitor in action. This Parallax Barrier type 3D monitor allows viewers to watch 3D content without those pesky glasses, but hopefully the results would be better than what was offered by the LG Flatron M4200D at this year's CES. The 1040S employs Advanced Layer Technology that is claimed to offer a clear, bright image that resolves the low brightness problem. Do you think there will be an upsurge in demand for 3D monitors in the near future, or will it remain a novelty?
