After weeks of denial, Sony has finally made its decision official: the cheaper 40GB PS3 will be in the stores on November 2 and will come with the Blu-Ray Spider-Man 3 movie.
Not surprisingly, Sony is also reducing the prices its pricier PS3 as well:
$499 - PlayStation 3 80GB
$399 - PlayStation 3 40GB (not backwards compatible, 2 USB ports)
